DOCTORS: 

Dr. Jason Bouska

 

A native of Iowa, Dr. Bouska completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa receiving a B.A. in Biochemistry and Honors Commendation. Dr. Bouska continued his education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  While in dental school, Dr. Bouska was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship from the U.S. Army. Following dental school, Dr. Bouska completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.

 

After serving as a general dentist in the U.S. Army, Dr. Bouska followed his passion for endodontics by returning to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry for a rigorous, two-year Endodontics  residency.  Dr. Bouska makes it a priority to continually update his knowledge and techniques by attending educational courses throughout each year. Dr. Bouska is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists and is the current president of the Iowa Association of Endodontists.

 

 

Dr. Kelsey Wenger

 

Originally from Shueyville, Iowa, Dr. Wenger received her a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA. Dr. Wenger also played soccer during her time at Coe! Dr. Wenger continued her education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. degree. Following dental school, Dr. Wenger received her Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (don’t worry, she’s still a Hawkeye fan).

 

Dr. Wenger is board eligible and is in the process of pursuing her American Board of Endodontics diplomate status. She has multiple dental publications and prioritizes evidence based dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Wenger plays pickleball (probably too much), walks dogs at the local humane society, loves to be on the lake (fishing), and watching Hawkeye sports!

Front Desk/ Assistant- Lindsey M., EFDA 

 

Lindsey M. grew up in Council Bluffs and still lives here today! Lindsey has been an Expanded functions Registered Dental Assistant since 2009. Lindsey is passionate about making sure that patients have a great experience from the time that they walk in the door. Lindsey has extensive knowledge on endodontics, dental assisting, sterilization, billing, and insurance. Lindsey and her husband, Brandon, have two daughters- Sydney and Layla. Lindsey is a very supportive mom and enjoys cheering on her daughters at their various sporting competitions!

 

Assistant- Lindsey S., QRDA

 

Lindsey S. has lived in the Western Iowa countryside all of her life. She completed her dental assisting training in NE in 2019, and in IA in 2023, and has extended training in coronal polishing and x-rays. Lindsey is passionate about prioritizing patient comfort and needs, understanding the funcitonality of teeth and occlusion, and teaching patients about how their teeth and gums can affect their overall health! Lindsey and her husband of 13 years have two kids, one boy and one girl. Lindsey's husband, Andy, is a foreman for a concrete construction company. Outside of work they enjoy spending their weekends at the dirtbike track!

 

Dental Assistant in Training- Sam

 

Sam graduated high school in Virginia, but has since lived in Texas, Hawaii, California, and now Nebraska! Sam is passionate about understanding the complexities of teeth and dental health. She enjoys being able to help patients smile! Outside of work, Sam lives with her boyfriend, an IT specialist in the US Air Force. Sam loves to read- she is always reading at least two books at a time! Sam enjoys doing various arts and crafts projects such as painting and crochet. When the weather is nice, Sam also enjoys going on long walks and hikes with her dog!
